Welcome to the School Council area!

We have a long established School Council made up of pupils, staff and governors. The council meet on a regular basis to raise school issues and provide ideas for improving the school.

The school council is a great opportunity for the children’s views to be heard and valued. The council raises money and controls its own budget so that projects can be funded. Recent initiatives have included new play equipment for playtimes and the decorating of the toilets so they are nicer places to go.

The pupil school council members are elected by the children and each class has its own councillor to keep them informed and to take suggestions back to the councillors and the council meetings. We are always very proud of the work undertaken by the school council.
