We are about to embark on an exciting new project at Fair Oak Junior School, and we would very much welcome your thoughts as we begin this journey together.

In Autumn 2026, the government is expected to release new guidance for the primary school curriculum. Alongside this, we would like to take the opportunity to develop a clear set of school values that will underpin life at Fair Oak Junior School and shape the curriculum we teach.

The link below will take you to a short survey designed to help us understand what you, as parents and carers, feel our school should provide. This survey is not about specific curriculum content (such as particular maths methods), but rather about the values, principles, and priorities that matter most and how these connect with the Fair Oak community.

If you would like to share your views and be part of this exciting process, please complete the survey by 5pm on Friday 22nd May. There is also an option to leave your name at the end of the form if you wish. This will allow us to contact you should we need further insight into your responses.

This should be a genuinely collaborative process, and I look forward to working with all of our stakeholders over the coming months.
