Our Typical Day

Below is how a typical day at Fair Oak looks. The timings can vary from time to time based on different things that happen in school. If you would like to see a snapshot of some of these events, please click here. 

Children can arrive at school from 8:40 but need to be in class for registration by 8:50 when the gates will be locked. 

The school day finishes at 15:30.  This equates to 33 hours 20 minutes during a typical week.

Our term dates for the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year are:

• Autumn Term 2026: Start Wednesday 2nd September 2026 , End Friday18th December 2026, Half-term Monday 26th October - Friday 30th October 2026
• Spring Term 2027: Start Monday 4th January 2027, End Thursday 25th March 2027, Half-term Monday 15th February - Friday 19th February 2027
• Summer Term 2027: Start Monday12th April 2027, End Wednesday 21st July 2027, Half-term Monday 31st May - Friday 4th May 2027.
