We hope you have enjoyed seeing the wonderful planters installed by our ‘Eco Warriors’ just before half term. Over the past 18 months, we have been fortunate to work closely with the ‘Tree and Bee Project’ (an initiative led by Eastleigh Borough Council), alongside Fair Oak and Horton Heath Parish Council. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Siobhan, Helen and Kirsty for their continued support in school, as well as for providing opportunities for our pupils to be involved in planting at Knowle Park.

These planters mark the beginning of our journey to enhance biodiversity across the school grounds. Our Year 5 pupils have already developed a range of thoughtful designs for further improvements, and we are excited to see these ideas begin to take shape. We look forward to sharing more developments over the coming months as our vision becomes a reality.
