Year 4
We are delighted to welcome you and your children to Year 4.
It's been great to see the children back in school: they have made a fantastic start already! Classes have settled really well and the children have already demonstrated how hardworking, respectful and resilient they can be – a brilliant start to their year 4 journey.
Uniform
We kindly remind all families of the importance of children attending school in the correct school uniform each day. Wearing the full, correct uniform helps pupils feel a sense of pride and belonging as well as supports our high standards across the school. The current expectations around school uniform are displayed on our website under school uniform.
Homework
Home learning will be set each Friday and weekly spellings will be available on the school website (see below).
In addition, children are required to read with an adult at least five times per week, and class teachers will check and sign reading diaries each Friday. We fully appreciate how busy life can be, but any time spent listening to or reading with your child will support their learning and benefit them enormously.
