Breakfast club begins at 07:45 and lasts for an hour, finishing therefore at 08:45. The cost of the club is £2 which does not include breakfast. Pupils can play interactive board games, catch up on homework or even learning spellings for a test later in the day. Breakfast is served from 08:20 and this is open for both parents and children.
We are very proud to offer such a large variety of clubs (click on the documents below for further details), running both at lunchtime and after school. The majority of these clubs are free because they are run by staff at school who give up a great deal of time to support these. We expect children, once they have joined a club, to attend regularly.
Information about clubs will be given at the beginning of term. Your child will bring home a letter giving details and we ask that you return the permission slip, essential for clubs which take place after school.
Please be aware that some clubs are offered only to certain year groups. Clubs are sometimes cancelled. Usually children will be informed well in advance, but inclement weather and staff illness sometimes mean last minute cancellations. We will keep the children safely at school until the normal collection time.
After school clubs run from 15:30 - 16:30. In most cases they do not run on the first or last weeks of term.
Wyvern Community runs a Before and After School Club, catering for children attending Fair Oak Junior and Infant schools. The clubs are open before school from 8.00am and after school until 6.00pm, please contact the Community Enterprise Office for more details.
During school holidays, they run various activities including all day childcare in their play scheme for 5-12 year olds, which is open from 8.00-6.00pm with half day options for most holidays.
