Well done to all of our fantastic footballers. There really were some outstanding performances today!
Thursday 2nd December
Fair Oak today participated in a year 3 and 4 skipping festival held at Wildern School. Five schools from the local area participated in the event which gave all of the pupils an opportunity to improve their skipping skills and learn some rather fun new ways to improve their fitness. Our athletes performed brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed the event. Well done to all of those who took part and represented our school with smiles on their faces!
Sunday 5th December
Both our girls and boys table tennis teams had previously qualified for the table tennis County Finals event at Testwood Sports College in Totton. The standard today was extremely high with the teams hoping to book their place at the National Finals later in the school year. Many of the participating players were table tennis club members but despite this, our athletes put in some super performances. Our girls team finished in third place overall, narrowly missing out on second place while our boys did well in their event to finish in fourth spot. Well done to all of our players – they should be extremely proud of themselves for their efforts today!
Monday 13th December
The Fair Oak year 5 and 6 girls tag rugby squad took on Oakley Junior School today in training matches. The session was really useful to the participating players who really are beginning to build up their game play experience in preparation for future fixtures! Well done to all those involved.
