Fun Had By All At Our Sponsored Skipathon!
Today all of our pupils took part in a sponsored skipping event to raise funds for the school as well as Sports Relief. Every class were given fifteen minutes to accumulate as many skips as possible. Many of the pupils showed considerable skills with their ropes, with some able to perform one or many of the following methods of skipping:

Backwards skipping

Hop scotch skipping

Cross skipping
-
One foot skipping
These skips were added together to create a class total. The class with the most skips in each year group received a collection of new hardback sports books for their book corners. All children were also awarded certificates for taking part. The year group winners were as follows:

5F
6B
The class with the most skips in the whole school and therefore the overall winners were 5F!
Well done to all of our participating pupils and thank you very much to everybody who has sent in sponsor money. Sponsor money can still be sent into school to add to our grand total!
