Kate Grey Visit A Huge Success!
Star Paralympic Swimmer Kate Grey put our children through their paces today during a fun-filled day designed to raise money for the school.
The Great Britain athlete, who won a Silver and Bronze Medal at the World Championships in 2009, led the whole school in a series of sponsored exercises, from star jumps to sit ups, while also teaching our pupils all about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Pupils also got the chance to pose for photographs and quiz the Great Britain athlete on anything from eating to exercise and hobbies to heroes during a special assembly held by Kate.
A big thank you must go to all of our pupils who participated in the event with energy and enthusiasm and also to the extremely supportive Fair Oak community for contributing to this sponsored event. Please could any outstanding sponsor money be handed into our school office as soon as possible.
