November Sports News

Tuesday 2nd November

It was the turn of our year 6 pupils to participate in a dodgeball festival held today at Wildern School. Eleven schools from the local area participated in the event which gave all of the pupils an opportunity to improve their skills in the sport. Both Fair Oak teams played really well in their fixtures and between them they won four and lost six matches with Fair Oak 1 finishing joint top of their group! Well done to all of those who took part and represented their school brilliantly.

The girls football team today played their second round match in the Hampshire Cup at home to Sarisbury Junior School. In the first half Fair Oak played well and deservedly found themselves three goals up at the break. In the second half Sarisbury briefly rallied pulling the score back to 4 – 2 to Fair Oak but then our girls wrestled control back and added another two goals to leave the final score at 6 – 2 to Fair Oak.
