News for all pupils
Fair Oak Squash Club are looking for new players between the ages of 5 and 11. The club is a non-profit organisation that is run by volunteers and supported by the borough council. They have coaching for juniors on a Saturday morning from 0900-1440hrs and sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings for anyone who can’t attend on a Saturday. This coincides with a county wide recruitment scheme run by Hampshire Squash who for a £30 fee will provide a junior racket, ball, eye protection and 6 free lessons at a participating club (which includes Fair Oak). News for Year 5
- Peake class will be going on their ‘crazy golf’ visit to Hedge End golf centre tomorrow afternoon. We would recommend – with the hot weather that has been forecast - the children wear their PE kits to school, (Fair Oak PE kits only, no football kits or personal sportswear). We would also suggest that the children bring sun hats and sun cream. We would advise the same for the subsequent visits to Hedge End golf centre for Valentina on the morning of Monday 21st June and Jemison class on the morning of Tuesday 22nd June, depending on the weather on those dates. Thank you.
- Hopefully you will have seen the letter sent home last week giving details about the PGL residential trip that your children will have the opportunity to take part in next year when they are in Year 6. We have attached it again for your information. The trip will take place Monday 13th – Friday 17th June 2022. A presentation about this trip will be available to view on the school website from tomorrow. Please direct any questions you may have through the school office and we will endeavour to help.
