Dear Fair Oak Family,
Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow is the last day of the spring term and we would like to wish you all a happy, healthy and relaxing Easter break. Here’s hoping for some dry, sunny days to make the most of our lovely local outside spaces. We look forward to seeing the children back with us on Monday 19th April for the start of the summer term!
News for all pupils
Tomorrow, the last day of term, is a ‘dress as you please’ day…..!
A reminder that for a voluntary contribution of £1, the children can dress as they please tomorrow. Our wonderful PSA are organising an Easter surprise for the children so hopefully, all the children will end the term with smiles on their faces!
Just so you are aware, the weekly work that you may see on Teams is there should a child need to isolate or a bubble close. The only task that needs to be completed by the children who are in school every day, is the weekly online reading record and any homework that may have been set on Teams, which will be clearly labelled as homework.
Mobile phones in school
At Fair Oak Junior School, bringing a mobile phone into school is a privilege for Year 6 children only. The phones are looked after during the school day by the Year 6 teachers and given back before the children go home. If your child is in any other year group and you feel that they need to have a mobile phone with them, please email the school office for Mrs Layley’s consideration - in this instance the phone would need to be kept in the school office - but we do not encourage phones in school.
Messages from the office
As always, we ask that you check your child(ren)’s Scopay account(s) during the Easter break and ensure that any outstanding dinner money or after school club payments are paid up to date. Thank you as always for your support with this.
