Dear Fair Oak Family,

News for all pupils

Welcome back! It was wonderful to welcome the children back to school this morning and despite some nerves on arrival, the children soon settled well and by lunchtime, it was like they had never been away. We now look forward to an exciting half term continuing our learning journey!

We have noticed today that several children were wearing hooped earrings. This, for obvious reasons, can be a real safety issue - only stud earrings are permitted in school. Thank you for your support with this.

• Just a little reminder of the start and finish times for the children as we noticed lots of parents and children arriving early this morning and parents arriving early at the end of the day.

Music lessons

Music lessons are now set up for online payment if you have registered your child for this. For those parents/guardians who paid by cheque before we broke up for the summer, just a reminder/warning the cheques will be cashed shortly. For our new Year 3’s – letters are coming home with the children today to allow you to set up online payments for music lessons, school dinners, trips etc., and for booking parents evening appointments etc., going forward, so please look out for them!

Special diet

If your child requires has specific dietary requirements, please be reminded that you will need to apply for a special diet by using this link:

https://www.hants.gov.uk/hc3s-specialdiets.

If your child is already in receipt of a special diet, you will still need to re-apply through this link ready for the new menu to start after half term, (no later than the 22^nd of October).

Registration documents

If your child has just joined Fair Oak Junior School, please ensure all completed registration documents have been handed in to the school office. Thank you.
