Red Nose Day Letter 2021

Dear Parents

Red Nose Day

19 March 2021

Red Nose Day is back and after a funny old 12 months, we’re more than ready for a giggle.

To make sure everyone stays safe, we’ll be following the latest Covid-19 guidelines. That means some of our fund raising in school will look a little bit different. But rest assured, we’ve still got lots of laughs in store.

Here’s what we’ve got planned…

  • Holding a dress as you please day on 19th March
  • Hosting a trail within each bubble (50p if pupils want to be entered for a prize draw)
  • Within bubbles, having lots of fun art, craft, English and maths activities including quizzes, designing new noses and physical challenges, assemblies etc.
  • Selling red noses (£1.50) in each bubble. All red noses are plastic free this year. We will be selling them every day in the week from Monday 15th March

Please could you add the non-uniform day in your diary. The children can pay for the trail in advance when they buy their red nose, so for convenience they could bring in £2 any day from 15th-19th March which would cover their red nose and the entry for the trail prize draw.

However much we raise, it will change lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.

In fact, £100 could buy ten pairs of warm, winter shoes for children living in a refugee camp in Lesvos.

We’ll also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to explore the issues facing young people across the world, and how the money we raise can help.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.

Yours faithfully,
