The Bank of England are creating a new £50 note and they want it to feature someone who’s contributed to science. They’re asking schools to help them decide who that should be. This opportunity is designed to engage primary school children in a creative and cross curricular activity - with the opportunity to have a pupil’s nominated character on the new £50. So click on this link to find a worksheet for pupils to complete so they can research their favourite scientist and draw a picture of them to be entered in to the competition and bring them in to school so that we can all have a look and hear why they are your favourite scientist!
