Tuesday 7th February
Fair Oak entered a team into the South Eastleigh and Winchester netball tournament today, hosted by Wildern School. Our team began with a draw against both Freegrounds and Curdridge before losing a tight encounter with St John The Baptist by two goals to one. Next up our side put on their best display of the competition in beating Netley Abbey six nil before a final three one loss to Droxford. Unfortunately these results did not put Fair Oak through to the next stage of the competition but despite this, our players should be proud of their efforts today.

Monday 9th January
Our girls football team played their Hampshire Cup quarter final today away to Twyford School. Unfortunately, Fair Oak lost by two goals to nil but our team should be extremely proud of the way they performed. At half time, the two sides could not be separated at nil nil. Our girls just shaded the second half but were unable to finish a couple of good chances while Twyford were clinical with theirs. Well done to our team who still have a number of competitions to go for throughout the remainder of the year.
Tuesday 10th January
Today Fair Oak entered two basketball teams into a qualifying tournament at Wildern for the County Finals which will be held later in the year. Teams were split into two groups with each team playing every other team in their pool. The top teams would make it through to the final with the runners up playing off for third place. Fair Oak began with a comfortable two nil win against Curdridge but then followed that up with a closely fought game against Berrywood which unfortunately ended in a three two loss. Bursledon were our next opponents and in an entertaining encounter, it was Fair Oak who came out on top by four baskets to two. The final game for our team was a tough fixture against Droxford which ended in a two nil defeat for Fair Oak. Our athletes should be really proud of their performance today. Well done to all of those who participated.
