Christmas Reflections
Fri 19 Dec 2014Yesterday all of the pupils at Fair Oak Junior School took part in a special assembly called 'The Christmas Box' based around the gifts of Christmas - hope, peace, joy and love. A candle was lit on the Advent Wreath as each gift was reflected upon. Carols and readings were enjoyed by all!

Musical Stars visit Sunnybank!
Tue 09 Dec 2014On Wednesday 3rd December thirty one pupils from throughout the school visited Sunnybank Care Home to perform a showcase of music, singing and dance. The group had been working on this for the term at Musical Theatre Club and this was the culmination of their hard work. They performed numbers such as The Locomotion, Jive Bunny, Frozen’s Let It Go and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins. The residents enjoyed our pupils energy and enthusiasm and were extremely grateful to them for showing them their performance.
Jo Vowles, the club organiser, commented ‘I was extremely proud of the group who did the school proud. It really was a nice opportunity to give something back to the local community. We hope to do this again next term.’
